Soccer

Bridger was so excited to start soccer this year. He has been asking for awhile now and that is what encouraged him to potty train last year. Well due to strep throat he missed his first game. His second game was rough for him because he was still recovering from strep (it took allot out of him, he had fevers close to 104 and it was a little scary for me.) His third game was canceled due to crazy snow. Today he played in his fourth game and had allot of fun. He actually got into the game and kicked a goal (for the other team.)

Some funny things he has done while playing so far:

*White grass (spray painted grass) amused him because he didn't know there was such thing as white grass; he kept showing the refs and anyone who would look

*Jumping over the white lines. In his first game he wouldn't step on any lines in the field and would be running and he would stop to jump over the lines

*Too busy admiring the girls on his team. He said they can score as many points as they would like because they are cute!

*Seagulls - he would stop to watch them so he knew where they were at all times

*Airplanes - pretty much the same story as the seagulls.

It has been an adventure that I have been waiting for since he was in my tummy. Now I am awaiting the adventure of Macie in soccer or dance and Owen in whatever sport he chooses!
