When you give a 4 year old a camera........

Santa brought Bridger a camera for Christmas. It is one of the kid tough camera's. It is so interesting to see what he sees. Some of his pictures are pretty cool. I had to share.

The past few months....

Man time flies. It seems like I just posted. The kids had a fun Halloween. Bridger dressed up like Spider man. He wanted to be a superhero with huge muscles. Macie was Cinderella. She loved her sparkly shoes. Like Cinderella Macie kept losing a shoe all night. They went trick or treating with Grandpa and Grandma Kendall. They had a blast and got lots of candy.

Brad and I have enjoyed the Utes this season, we have had season tickets for three years now and have enjoyed every moment of it. We don't go on too many dates during the first part of the year. We save our date nights for Utah football season. Brad's mom and dad watch the kids and they look forward to Utah football season as well.

We were getting pictures taken a few weeks ago and Macie fell four feet and landed on her head. We took her to the doctors (more like rushed her) and the only thing wrong with her was a bruised face and scrapes. The doctor told us to watch for signs of a concussion, like drowsiness or not wanting to eat. On our way home Macie asked if we could go to McDonalds, so far no worries of a concussion. Then when she go home, she ran around like she just drank and energy drink. Needless to say she never shown either of those two symptoms. Her face healed in a week.

Last week, we took Macie to get her first haircut. Her hair was in her eyes. My cousin Tricia did an awesome job. Macie sat on her throne and held pretty still and didn't cry. She loved the attention. After her cut she ran up to her dad and said, "don't I look pretty dad?"

We found out last week that we are expending number 3. It has been rough for me. I didn't have any sickness with Bridger or Macie, but I have been nauseous 24/7 so far. I am due the end of July. We are excited. Bridger hopes there are two babies (only because my brother just had twins). Macie is now walking around telling everyone she has a baby in her tummy. It is cute!

Finally we dressed our little ones up in their Ute gear to watch the Utah vs. BYU game. Unfortunately the Utes lost but my kids looked great. We are doing well and are looking forward to what the future holds for us.

Our Weekend Adventure...

Our adventure started several months ago when I booked a trip on a whim to celebrate Brad's 27th Birthday. He is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and a friend of mine at work mentioned that they would be playing the Denver Broncos in October. I went on-line booked the air, car, and hotel, then bought tickets to the game. I wanted it to be a compete surprise to Brad so I made up a story about going with my parents to their condos this weekend so he could get today off. Then I kept my secret all this time. Last Friday I got off work early to pack our bags and put them in the car. Then on Saturday morning we woke up and took the kids to Hogle Zoo to see the new baby Elephant. She was cute. We even got to see the gorilla, which is always hiding.

My mom came with us and took the kids home, I told Brad we going to go out and celebrate his Birthday early since we had a babysitter. I blind folded him and drove to the Airport. He got out of the car, took off his blind fold and looked at me with a curious look. We got our bags out and got on a shuttle. I was going to keep our destination a secret until he got the bording pass but our shuttle was full of Broncos and Cowboys fans. They kept asking us if we were going to the game. He turned to me and said are we? I pulled out the tickets and he was excited. Our first NFL game experience. We had a blast, the night we got in we went to Bubba Gump Shrimp resteraunt, it was yummy! Sunday we went to Mile High Stadium to see what we hoped a Cowboys victory. There were 75,688 in attendance. The stadium was amazing, nothing like the U, where we spend our weekends when they are at home. Cowboys fans surrounded us. We had more Cowboys fans than Broncos fans around us. When we thought they won, Denver surprised us all and scored a field goal and a touchdown to go ahead by seven. The Cowboys had a shot in the last minute of the game but blew it when they were on the 2 yard line. The team we were cheering for lost but the experience was amazing. Needless to say it was an adventure and the first real trip Brad and I have taken in our six years of marriage. It is one we will never forget!

Go Utes!!!

Brad and I love football season. We each cheer for a different NFL team Brad the Cowboys and I cheer for the Chargers. One thing we do agree on is Utah Football. This is our third season of having season tickets and absolutely love it. We sit on the 7th row in the North End Zone. We don't really go on dates the first half of the year, but football comes around and we get our stadium seats and Brad's parents get excited (they get to see the kids more since they babysit), and we eat the best corn dogs ever. It is my dream date. I never knew this about myself, I use to think I was a walk on the beach sort of girl, but football makes me happy. This has become a passion of mine. I know it is weird but I love football. I have been going to a football camp with my friend Jen at the U and we love learning about the players, listening to coach review game footage, and learning about the game of football. We get a free t-shirt and get dinner each time we go. It is awesome.

Summer Time Fun - Blog Catch up

We have been so busy this summer, that I haven't had a chance to blog. We are having a great summer. We have a season pass to the zoo and enjoy going there to see all the new baby animals. We went to my family reunion campground, and we spent a week in Driggs, ID at Brad's family's cabin. We have had so much fun.

My kids are growing up so fast.

Bridger is four and makes us laugh with his funny stories. Today he told my mom that his Grandma Pope was gone away. When she asked where Grandma Pope was he said "She has gone on a trip." My mom asked him where she went and he responded "She is off exploring a jungle!" Brad's Grandma Pope was not able to come to Idaho this year. He asked us where she was and we told him out of town. To him that meant she was in a jungle. He likes to copy commercials his favorite being the Dell Computer Laptop Lolly pop commercial. He is a great big brother and takes care of his sister. When anyone is upsetting her he is the first to stand up to her and give her loves when she cries.

Macie is now 18 months. She had her 18 month appointment today. She is in the 95th percentile for her head side (she has the Kendall head), 75th percentile for her weight and height (she is tall like the Robbins side). Some exciting news for her (and me) she decided while on vacation last week that she no longer wanted to poop in her diaper and we haven't had a dirty diaper since. She tells us when she needs to potty and we take her. The only problem is she only does it with pooping, she hasn't quite gotten the hang of peeing. The Dr was surprised and told us to keep working with it, we had the hard part almost down. She also is ahead with her vocabulary. She is our little jabber box. If she hears something she repeats it. She is already talking in small sentences.

Here are some pictures of our summer so far:

Even though his face looks frightened, we had a hard time getting him off the slide when we left.

My Baby is Four!

Wow I can't believe it, Bridger turned four today! I can't even imagine sending him to Kindergarten next year. I will be crying all the way there. It seem like yesterday, I was at LDS hospital giving birth to him. It was 13 hours of labor and out came a 8lb 1 oz little boy. From day one he slept through the night. He is such an amazing little boy. He is so smart and so considerate of those around him.

Today we to the zoo and he had $15.00 to spend on whatever he wanted. We were at the store and he picked up an animal that was $15.00 and he asked me how much it cost, I told him $15.00 he put it down and said if I buy this I won't have any money left to buy my little sister something and I want to buy her this little animal. He found something else so he could buy her something. I looked at him and I was amazed. Brad and I were talking later and we don't remember being that considerate when we were that little.

I believe with all my heart that he was sent here to teach Brad and I several lessons. He is the one who always makes sure we say our dinner prayer, morning family prayer, and dinner prayer. He even participates time and time again. We love this little spirit and are excited to see him grow up.
