Brad's Grandma Pope took Bridger and I along with Brad's sisters, mom, and cousins to Lion King on Broadway. Brad chooses not to go to plays and musicals. They aren't his favorite thing so Bridger got to come this time. When we arrived at Capital Theater and sat in our seats, he tapped my shoulder and said "Mom, this place is incredible I have never seen anything like it!" Then the show started and his face lit up. His favorite part was when Timon and Pumba appeared. He liked it best when they were on stage.
The cast and crew of this Broadway was amazing, they are all very talented people. I was grateful to see the African culture intertwined in this production.
Thank you Grandma Pope for this amazing opportunity. Bridger and I will never forget it!
